Deborah Wood

Deb’s Journey from Tragedy to Purpose

Deb’s world was shattered when her teenage daughter, Naomi, died suddenly while away at boarding school. What made the loss even more devastating was the heartbreaking truth that later emerged — Naomi’s death was the result of medical neglect.

With immense strength and resilience, Deb knew she couldn’t let her daughter’s death be in vain. Yet, in the midst of her grief, she had no idea what that meaning or purpose could be. Naomi had been adopted from Africa with the hope of giving her a brighter future and greater opportunities. Tragically, that dream was cut short.

Four months into her grief journey, Deb heard Denise on a podcast. That moment became a turning point. For the first time, she felt a spark of direction — a way to transform her pain into purpose. Inspired by Denise’s message, Deb realized her mission was to walk alongside other mothers who had lost a child, helping them navigate their grief, release the pain, and reimagine life after the unthinkable.

Today, Deb has turned her deepest heartbreak into a legacy of healing — honoring Naomi’s memory by guiding other mothers through the same dark tunnel she once walked.

Pam Shears

Pam’s Transformation from Stuck in Grief to Guiding Others

After losing her husband suddenly, Pam found herself trapped in grief for more than five years. She tried everything she could — grief groups, books, and following the “five stages of grief” — but nothing helped her find lasting peace. Joy felt forever out of reach, and life seemed to stand still.

Everything shifted when Pam reached out to Denise. A single breakthrough call opened the door to hope. Soon after, she enrolled in the FLOW Grief Release Program.

Within just one week, Pam began to reimagine her future. For the first time since her loss, she felt a sense of possibility — and discovered her true purpose: helping others through their own grief.

Pam went on to certify as a FLOW Grief Release Practitioner, dedicating her life to supporting widows so they don’t spend years waiting for change the way she once did. Today, she is living proof that even after deep loss, it’s possible to rebuild, reimagine, and step into a meaningful new chapter.
