Grief and Loss are not life sentances

Don't Die With Your Spouse?

This image caught my attention in a big way.

I see this with so many widows who mentally live in the grave of their life partner or the moments of death.

They say things like

  • I’ll never love again

  • I’ll never get over my loss

  • I want to join them

  • Why me

  • I cry everyday

  • My life is empty

  • No one will ever replace them

  • There’s no point to my life

  • I don’t want to go on

It breaks my heart when I see widows so stuck in their pain, that the thought of moving forward scares them so much and they remain living and then reliving their loss over and over and over.

Unfortunately some widows seem to also ‘die ‘ when their partners do and it’s sad for everyone around them.

Some kids don’t just lose a dad they lose their mum to grief.

There is no glory or point to living in the grave or always thinking of the moment they died.

It’s time wasted that could be spent making happier memories with current family and friends.

Remember they lived and that you still do. if you are stuck and wondering how to move forward with joy. Let’s talk. I can help you just as I’ve helped hundreds of widows move forward and find their joy over the last decade.
